After the long awaited (by two people, thanks for your support Libby and Kacey) entrance into the blogging community, I am pleased to announce the Marshall Diaries, which will chronicle the young lives of three adorable and clever children . . . Edith, Harley and Olive. Just kidding, I mean Eden, Hawkins and Olivia Marshall, of course! We we may also have a rare appearance by their, much less interesting and certainly less appealing to look at, parents Ben and Cara.
This may be an appropirate time for my disclaimer. I have been assured that this will take care of all my scrapbooking/journaling needs, thus relieving me of the large amounts of guilt building since I gave the practice up all together before Olivia was born. However, I still refuse to spend copious amounts of time editing myself or even spell checking. So, this will be the place to visit when you are feeling bad about your own grammar or inability to articulate.
And now to introduce the stars of this hoopla . . .
Its's Eden Noelani Marshall. Just the sweetest, most sensitive ten year old you ever will meet. Recently, Eden had the best day of school ever because her teacher said her oral book report should be looked at as an example for the rest of her class to follow, and she was one of only two kids who got 100% on a super hard quiz. "It was the best!" she said. She's working really hard to get ready for her first piano recital in Utah. It is not to be missed. We love this girl.
We love him. He is following in his big sisters academic footsteps by getting straight O's last quarter. (OK, I know I lost a few of you. O= Outstanding) He is working hard on his reading and loves chapter books. He recently won a date night with mom by reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
And last, but not least it's Miss Olivia Makai Marshall. We hardly recognize her here all dressed up in here red carpet regalia . . .
because this is how we see her the most lately. It's really hard to know when she's upset because she is not very expres
Livvy is hilarious. The things she comes up with are constantly cracking us all up. Some how video games have inundated the Marshall home, and she is killer at Lego Star Wars. (Not my proudest parental moment, but I do love hearing her alternating comments "Sweet!" and "Crap".)
She is super excited to start kindergarten in August. She has started sounding out letters and words, so we feel great that this little starlet is well on her way.
It's still a shock that our little sweet Livers is such a big kid.
Tune in for more from these adorable kids, plus occasional cameos by Bruno, the dog . . .or rat. We're just not sure.
